About Me

My name is Nichole Beer. Some of my best memories include cooking with my mother in our old drafty house in the Midwest. My mother was raised on a working farm run by my grandmother.  I learned to pickle and can vegetables before I learned to ride a bike. 

My love of all things culinary has never waived. I have lived and traveled across the globe, just to expand my food and cooking knowledge. 

I am a school librarian by trade and truly love it. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Without food, travel, family, friends and books, there would be so much less joy in my life.

lentilsinthepot is a culmination of all my great loves. Hope to see you cooking up something soon.
